March!!!! Already!

Well time is sure flying! I am presently at the Westcliff hotel where I have been for just over a month now helping out. It has been a good experience thus far and have had such good time with Zsa and family( those little ones are gorgeous)-helping with bath time,playing with them and just being there with them has been so so special. I wish I could be closer to my nephews and niece. I miss Aziz and Adam a hell of alot and dont like the fact that I can only see them now and then and miss out on all the special moments in between. Couldnt we all just be in one city?? I also miss mum and have many a frustating moment being so far away while she is going through her treatment. Well our next family get together is in April-the end of Aprila and I will have to wait patiently till then. I miss Dills big time but am also loving my time here-it does get lonely now and then like this Easter weekend but am enjoying being here.

Great start to the year

The year started on a very positive note and I have not made new years resolutions however made mental notes on things I would like to concentrate on. One of the main things for me is focusing on the moment and the day and not stressing about the future and what the next day holds.I have been doing so well thus far and have also concentrated on getting rid of clutter in my life. New adventures are on the horizon and I know its going to be a good year ahead.

New year 2008

Mum and I saw the New Year in together on the balcony at High Cape. It was real special to be with her and we watched the 46664 concert on tv as well as watched the fireworks going off at the waterfront. Mum really enjoyed the Mango Groove part of the concert on tv and danced in her reindeer printed pjs! 2008......well well well I have spent these few days not really sure of how I am feeling and have been having lots going through my mind about the year ahead. The picture seems to be getting clearer however slowly and hopefully it is going to be an awesome year-well I will make sure it is!

December

Well we in it and every year we find ourselves saying 'Xmas has come around so quickly" It really does just sneak up on you. I have already been to our first Xmas party with friends and it was great fun. Mahesh and Rashika hosted it at their new place and we had absolute fun. Tomorrow is our work Xmas party at Star Dust and we all wearing wigs-its going to be fun. This week is rather busy-wednesday eve we off to watch Michael Buble perform at Kirstenbosch and on thursday we have our book club Xmas party. Was expecting mum in CPT this week but due to some scary news for all of us mums health wont allow her to travel this week after finding an incision and growth in her lung. This is one of the most scariest moments for me-all we can do is be positive and hope and pray.

Going through some changes

I have been going through such a bad patch of anxiety and bad dreams and it seems to be easing now! I really need to gone out this sleeplessness to rest and see a doctor for a while. Mum said its about time I do this but I keep thinking of the cost factor. I guess I just have to make some sacrifices in the new year and do this for a better state of mind. A new year with this new behind me......hmmm sounds good.

Welcome to Zara

Last week was the birth of "Zara Rose Berrisford"-beautiful baby girl-Zarina gave birth on the 26th September 2007. We are all so so excited and I am so looking forward to meeting Aroon and family in JHB this weekend to see the new babe.
Adhil leaves on a months trip this wednesday around the world.....Pity he wont be there with us to see the babe but I am sure he will get to see her soon.
