On leave-yahoo

Well I am officially on leave and guess what......it did not take me long to get into leave mode. How can you not when you start off in Durban with you start off in durbs with sun and sea? Sitting at the beach cafe was awesome spending time with the Patels. Its been great for a change not rushing from seeing one person to the next.
Had the chance to go with to drop off Aziz and Adam at school this morning. Was really special. Will update with lots more soon.

So good to be back

Well its been just over a week and I am loving being back in the swing of things and being with my Mount Nelson peeps. There are some new peeps in the sales team so interesting rtn. Back to book club next week so I better get reading this weekend.
The week nights have been so busy.Now its the count down to Bali-yahoo and more exciting as Dills and I are now going to be staying together at Contiki Bali.Awesome. I first go to Durbs to see mum and the family-hopefully mum will be doing well.

A chapter closes

Today my chapter at the Westcliff hotel closed. It has been a truely amazing experience and wow the staff have made me feel so so special. We had a dinner to bid me farewell at a chinese restaurant in Melville last night which was great fun. We sat on the floor on cushions and ate off a low table. The waitrons were entertaining and the crowd as well. Today I was given a suprise farewell along with Marthinus (security manager) which was so touching. Mr Holden made a speech and handed me a little token. It was really amazing. A long long day though as I had to tidy up my folders, e-mails and wrap up of course. A chapter closes however this evening my new chapter of planning my holiday to Bali next month opens.... and I return home to the Mount nelson hotel.

My temporary residence the Westcliff hotel

Well I took on this challenge to do some damage control at the Westcliff hotel where I have been working and living since the middle of Feb-Feb 17 to be precise. It has been an amazing experience living at the hotel and been in a different environment on a temporary basis enjoying a different city. I love being around the corner from the Berrisfords as well as my friends. The social circle I have in Jhb is what I greatly miss in CPT. Why couldnt it all come together-well one day I am sure.
I have been making the most of my challenge and despite the stress being enjoying each day and the beauty of the hotel and the veiws. I also have been reading a lot and researching random things I have been interested in. My time was meant to come to an end at the end of May however due to a little speed bump in the road there has been a slight delay. Just going to try to enjoy the extended ride.

March!!!! Already!

Well time is sure flying! I am presently at the Westcliff hotel where I have been for just over a month now helping out. It has been a good experience thus far and have had such good time with Zsa and family( those little ones are gorgeous)-helping with bath time,playing with them and just being there with them has been so so special. I wish I could be closer to my nephews and niece. I miss Aziz and Adam a hell of alot and dont like the fact that I can only see them now and then and miss out on all the special moments in between. Couldnt we all just be in one city?? I also miss mum and have many a frustating moment being so far away while she is going through her treatment. Well our next family get together is in April-the end of Aprila and I will have to wait patiently till then. I miss Dills big time but am also loving my time here-it does get lonely now and then like this Easter weekend but am enjoying being here.
